1) Best Practices when Recording
Record while you perform your entire process, including all clicks and text entries. Make sure to capture the entire process from start to finish.
Narrate what you're doing as you perform each step, similar to when showing a new colleague how to do this process. This helps our AI better understand your workflow.
Before recording, close unnecessary applications and browser tabs.
Move slowly and deliberately through each step.
Avoid recording sensitive information like passwords, or personally identifying information.
Keep recordings under 20 minutes for optimal processing.
If you make a mistake, don't worry! Continue recording, just narrate what the error was and pick back up at the point before the mistake.

2) How to Record your Screen
Windows
Using Snipping Tool (Windows 11 or newer)
Press
Windows + Shift + S
to open Snipping Tool.Click the three dots (...) menu and select "Record".
Select the area you want to record by clicking and dragging.
Click "Start Recording" to begin.
Click "Stop Recording" when finished (or press
Windows + Shift + R
).Your recording will be saved to the Clipboard and can be saved to a file.
The Snipping Tool recording feature is available on Windows 11 version 22H2 or later.
Using Xbox Game Bar (Windows 10 or older)
Press
Windows + G
to open Xbox Game Bar.Click the "Capture" button or press
Windows + Alt + R
to start recording.Your screen recording will be saved to
Videos/Captures
folder.Press
Windows + Alt + R
again to stop recording.
If Xbox Game Bar is not enabled, go to Settings β Gaming β Xbox Game Bar to enable it.
Mac
Open QuickTime Player from Applications.
Click File β New Screen Recording.
Click Options -> Active Microphone.
Click the Record button to begin.
Select either full screen or drag to select an area.
Click the Stop button in the menu bar at the top when finished.
Save your recording: File β Save.
For Mac users: You can also use the keyboard shortcut "Shift + Command + 5" to access screen recording controls.
