WooCommerce connects to Caddi with a REST API consumer key and consumer secret that you generate in your store's WordPress admin.
Before you start
You'll need:
Access to your store's WordPress admin with the WooCommerce settings
A store served over HTTPS (Caddi sends the key and secret using HTTP Basic authentication, which WooCommerce documents for HTTPS stores)
Pretty permalinks turned on: in WordPress, go to Settings > Permalinks and choose any structure other than Plain
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
Step 1: Generate a REST API key in WooCommerce
Sign in to your WordPress admin.
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.
Click Create an API key (or Add Key if you already have keys).
In Description, enter a label such as Caddi.
From User, choose the WordPress user the key belongs to. The key can only do what that user is allowed to do, and it stops working if that user is deleted.
From Permissions, choose Read, Write, or Read/Write, depending on whether Caddi should only read store data or also create and update it.
Click Generate API Key.
Copy the Consumer key (starts with
ck_) and the Consumer secret (starts withcs_). The consumer secret is shown only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
Do not send this key or secret by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 2, or keep it in a password manager until you do.
Step 2: Add the key in Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find WooCommerce - Custom REST API Key and click Configure.
In Store URL, enter your store's address, for example
https://example.comorhttps://example.com/shop.Paste the consumer key into Consumer Key.
Paste the consumer secret into Consumer Secret.
Click Save Configuration.
