MailerLite connects to Caddi with an API token that you generate in MailerLite. It is the only connector in this group that is not OAuth — MailerLite does not offer an OAuth flow, so there is no sign-in screen and no consent step.
Before you start
You'll need:
Access to the MailerLite account you want to connect
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
MailerLite binds a token permanently to the user who generated it. If that person is removed from the MailerLite account or their user is deleted, the token stops working and the connection breaks. Generate it from an account you expect to keep — a shared or service user rather than someone who may leave.
Step 1: Generate the token in MailerLite
Sign in to MailerLite and open Integrations.
Choose MailerLite API.
Select Generate new token.
Give it a name that identifies it later, such as
Caddi.Copy the token. MailerLite shows it once.
Do not send this token by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 2, or keep it in a password manager until you do.
Step 2: Add the token in Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find MailerLite - Custom API Key and click Configure.
Paste the token into API Key.
Click Save Configuration.
How the connection behaves
The token carries its creator's access. MailerLite does not scope API tokens, so Caddi can reach whatever that user can reach in the account.
There is nothing to renew. MailerLite tokens have no documented expiry and no refresh flow, so the connection keeps working until the token is deleted or its owner is removed.
Troubleshooting
You left the token screen before copying the token
MailerLite shows a generated token only once. Return to Integrations → MailerLite API, generate a new one, and copy it immediately.
A token that worked before stops authenticating
The MailerLite user who generated it was most likely removed or deleted, which invalidates their tokens. Have a current user generate a new token and update API Key in Caddi.
You cannot find the token generator in MailerLite
MailerLite's API documentation does not state which plan, role or permissions are required to generate a token. Confirm with MailerLite support.
Still stuck? Contact Caddi support with the exact error message you're seeing and the time it occurred.
