May 2026: Organize your whole team in Caddi

This month's headline is Teams: organize your whole firm in Caddi the way it's actually structured, and share loops with a team in one step. Plus new integrations, chat-based loop editing, and structured data out of any document.

This month's headline is Teams: organize your whole firm in Caddi the way it's actually structured, and share loops with a team in one step. Plus new integrations, chat-based loop editing, and structured data out of any document.

🚀 Organize your whole team in Caddi

As more of your firm came onto Caddi, keeping track of who should see which loops — and sharing them one person at a time — got unwieldy, with no way to mirror how your organization is actually set up. Now you can: build your organization into teams, give each team a manager, and nest teams inside larger teams to match your real structure. Then share a loop with an entire team in one step — everyone on it gets access, and as people join or move teams, what they can reach moves with them.

The practical version: set up an "Intake" team under "Litigation," give it a manager, and share your intake loops with the whole team at once — no more adding people one by one.

🔌 New integrations & deeper tool coverage

Your loops are only as useful as the systems they can touch. This month we connected new tools so loops can work where your data already lives:

  • Asana — read and manage projects, tasks, and sections so loops can drive your work tracking end to end.

  • Addepar — bring portfolio data, reports, transactions, and positions into your loops.

  • Thomson Reuters Elite 3E — work with matters, clients, time, and cost entries in your practice management system.

We also went deeper on tools you already connect. Outlook loops can now draft, reply, forward, and manage mail, calendar events, and contacts. DocuSign loops can now do far more of the envelope lifecycle — send, void, correct recipients, manage templates, run bulk sends, and act on shared-access envelopes — not just the basics. And Excel in OneDrive and SharePoint now supports the full chart lifecycle on both sides, so a loop can build, update, and export a chart as an image.

✨ New features

  • Edit a loop just by asking — request a change to a loop in plain language right from Caddi's chat, and it makes the edit for you. It's the first version of building and editing loops simply by talking to Caddi.

  • Pull data straight out of documents — loops can now extract structured fields from documents and images alike, including scans and photos, with a confidence score on each value, so you can lift the numbers and details you need instead of reading them by hand.

  • Download your loop diagram — export a loop's diagram as a PNG or PDF, with a transparent or white background, to drop into a doc or share with your team.

🔧 Improved

  • Know when a loop needs you — if a loop pauses waiting on your input, you now get a notification so it doesn't sit unnoticed. You can turn this on or off in your notification preferences.

  • Smarter handling when a step fails — a loop now skips just the later steps that depended on the failed one and carries on with the rest, instead of stopping the whole run.

  • Clearer run views — run diagrams now group batch and transformation steps more clearly, and skipped steps are shown plainly so you can see exactly what happened.

  • See which version ran — your run history now shows the loop version behind each run, and when you make a tested version live, the confirmation tells you what changed in that version.

  • Explore screenshots up close — screenshots in a loop's documentation are now interactive: pan and zoom into any captured step to see exactly what happened on screen.

  • Results in your completion email — the email you get when a loop finishes now includes the run's results, so you can see the outcome without opening Caddi.

🐛 Fixed

We squashed a batch of bugs this month, including file uploads failing for some documents, occasional white screens after a new release, a run's live progress sometimes replaying stale steps, batch selections getting lost or misrouted when a connection dropped, and a run sometimes showing the wrong overall status.
