Shopify connects to Caddi through Caddi's Shopify app. You give Caddi your shop domain, and Caddi uses it to connect to your store.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Shopify store, and either store owner access or a staff account with the Manage domains permission
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
Step 1: Find your shop domain in Shopify
Sign in to your Shopify admin.
Open the Domains page (admin.shopify.com/settings/domains).
Copy your store's myshopify.com domain, for example
acme.myshopify.com. Use this domain, not a custom domain you've added for your storefront.
Step 2: Add your shop in Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find Shopify and click Configure.
Paste your shop domain into Shop domain. You can enter either the full domain (
acme.myshopify.com) or just the shop name (acme).Leave OAuth Scopes blank to use Caddi's default scopes. Caddi requests these scopes when you connect:
read_products, write_products, read_orders, write_orders, read_draft_orders, write_draft_orders, read_customers, write_customers, read_inventory, write_inventory, read_locations, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, read_assigned_fulfillment_orders.Click Save Configuration.
Step 3: Confirm the connection
In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar.
Find Shopify and click Connect.
Sign in to Shopify and approve the request. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.
Approving the app requires the store owner, or a staff account with the Manage and install apps and channels permission.
If you're not going to be an everyday user of Caddi, you can disconnect after confirming the connection works.
