Notion is a Caddi-managed connector. There is no app to register and nothing for an administrator to configure — each person connects their own Notion workspace and chooses which pages Caddi may work with.
Notion has no OAuth scopes. What Caddi can reach is decided entirely by the pages and databases you select while authorizing, not by a permission list. Select a parent page when you want Caddi to reach everything beneath it.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Notion account with access to the workspace you want to connect
A Caddi account — any member can connect their own Notion workspace
Step 1: Connect your workspace
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations, and go to the My Connections tab.
Find Notion and click Connect +.
Sign in to Notion and select the workspace you want Caddi to work in.
Click Select pages and choose the pages and databases Caddi should be able to use. Choosing a parent page also grants access to its child pages.
Click Allow access. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.
Step 2: Share more pages later
A page Caddi was never given is invisible to it. To add one after you've connected:
Open the page in Notion and click the ••• menu at the top right.
Choose Connections, then + Add connection.
Search for the Caddi connection and select it.
Confirm. The connection gains access to that page and all of its child pages.
How the connection behaves
Access is per page, not per permission. Notion's OAuth flow carries no scope parameter, so the pages you select at authorization decide what the connection can act on. If Caddi can see a page, it can act on it.
One connection, one workspace. The connection is tied to the workspace you chose at sign-in. Working across two Notion workspaces means connecting twice.
Tokens renew in the background, so a working connection should not need re-authorizing.
Troubleshooting
A page you know exists is invisible to Caddi
That page was not shared with the connection. Share it using the ••• → Connections steps above.
A loop worked yesterday and now sees nothing
Someone removed the Caddi connection from the page, or moved the page out from under the parent that was shared. Re-share the page.
Caddi is connected to the wrong workspace
Disconnect in Caddi, then connect again and pick the correct workspace at sign-in. The workspace is fixed at authorization.
Authorization is refused, or Caddi does not appear as an option
Your workspace may limit which connections members can install. Ask a Notion workspace owner.
Still stuck? Contact Caddi support with the exact error message you're seeing and the time it occurred.
