Caddi connects to Assembly Neos through Assembly's integration partner program. Caddi holds the Integration ID and API Key; your firm supplies its Neos Company ID. Setup usually takes only a few minutes on your side.
Neos credentials are issued by Assembly Software to Caddi, not generated by your firm. Contact Caddi support to start the connection and we'll supply the Integration ID and API Key values to enter alongside your Company ID.
Before you start
You'll need:
Your Neos Company ID — ask your Neos administrator if you don't know it
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
An Integration ID and API Key from Caddi support
Step 1: Find your Neos Company ID
Ask your Neos administrator for your firm's Company ID.
Confirm with Caddi support that your firm has been onboarded on Assembly's side.
Step 2: Configure Neos in Caddi
This step must be completed by a Caddi organization owner or admin.
In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar, then click the Integration Setup tab at the top of the page. This tab is only visible to organization owners and admins.
Find Neos in the list and click Configure.
Enter the following values:
Integration ID — supplied by Caddi support
API Key — supplied by Caddi support
Company ID — your firm's Neos Company ID
Environment — leave off for production. Enable only if you are connecting a Neos staging environment for testing.
Click Save Configuration. Caddi validates the credentials immediately — if something is wrong you'll see an error right away, and nothing is stored until validation passes.
How the connection behaves
One shared identity. Caddi acts through a single partner integration rather than as individual users, so Neos-side activity is attributed to the integration.
Revoking access. Contact Caddi support or Assembly to disable the integration for your Company ID.
Staging and production are separate. Do not point a production Caddi organization at a staging Company ID.
Troubleshooting
Saving the configuration fails validation
Check the Company ID first — a mistyped ID is the most common cause. If the ID is right, contact Caddi support to confirm the Integration ID and API Key are current.
Caddi connects but sees no cases
The Company ID may point at the wrong Neos environment, or your firm's Neos onboarding on Assembly's side isn't complete. Contact Caddi support.
Still stuck? Contact Caddi support with the exact error message you're seeing and the time it occurred.
Automation ideas
Law Firms
Intake → Neos case
Caddi reads a new intake form, creates the case in Neos with the right case type and staff assignments, and populates the party and incident details.
Document received → case file
Caddi files incoming correspondence and records to the correct Neos case, extracts key dates, and updates the case notes.
Case milestone → task and calendar chain
When a case reaches a new phase, Caddi creates the follow-up tasks and calendar entries the phase requires.
