Acuity Scheduling Setup

Connect Acuity Scheduling to Caddi with a custom OAuth2 client.

Acuity Scheduling connects to Caddi with a custom OAuth2 client you register in your Acuity Scheduling account.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • An Acuity Scheduling account with a paid subscription (Acuity requires one to register an OAuth2 client)

  • Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization

Step 1: Copy the redirect URL from Caddi

  1. In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.

  2. Under Connectors you can configure, find Acuity Scheduling - Custom OAuth2 Client and click Configure.

  3. Click Copy redirect URL. It is https://app.trycaddi.com/oauth-callback.

Step 2: Register the OAuth2 client in Acuity Scheduling

  1. Go to acuityscheduling.com/oauth2/register (the Register OAuth2 Client page).

  2. Click Log in and sign in to your Acuity Scheduling account.

  3. Register a new OAuth2 client. Use the redirect URL you copied in Step 1 as the client's redirect URI. Acuity checks that the redirect URI matches when you connect.

  4. Copy the client ID and client secret of the client you registered.

Do not send this client secret by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 3, or keep it in a password manager until you do.

Step 3: Add the credentials in Caddi

  1. In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.

  2. Under Connectors you can configure, find Acuity Scheduling - Custom OAuth2 Client and click Configure.

  3. Paste the client ID into Client ID.

  4. Paste the client secret into Client Secret.

  5. Leave OAuth Scopes blank to use Caddi's default scopes. Caddi requests api-v1 when you connect; api-v1 is required.

  6. Click Save Configuration.

Step 4: Confirm the connection

  1. In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar.

  2. Find Acuity Scheduling - Custom OAuth2 Client and click Connect.

  3. Sign in to Acuity Scheduling and approve the request. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.

If you're not going to be an everyday user of Caddi, you can disconnect after confirming the connection works.
