Fax.Plus Setup

Fax.Plus connects to Caddi with a custom OAuth app you activate in your Fax.Plus account.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A Fax.Plus account on the Enterprise plan

  • Owner or Admin access to that Fax.Plus account

  • Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization

Step 1: Activate the Fax.Plus API

  1. Sign in at app.fax.plus.

  2. Open Settings, then the Integrations tab.

  3. Under Fax.Plus API, click Activate.

  4. Copy the Client ID (it starts with APIK-) and the Client secret.

Do not send this client secret by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 2, or keep it in a password manager until you do.

Step 2: Add the credentials in Caddi

  1. In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.

  2. Under Connectors you can configure, find Fax.Plus - Custom OAuth Client and click Configure.

  3. Paste the Client ID into Client ID.

  4. Paste the Client secret into Client Secret.

  5. Leave OAuth Scope blank to use Caddi's default scope. Caddi requests all, the scope Fax.Plus documents for OAuth connections.

  6. Click Save Configuration.

Step 3: Confirm the connection

  1. In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar.

  2. Find Fax.Plus - Custom OAuth Client and click Connect.

  3. Sign in to Fax.Plus and approve the request. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.

If you're not going to be an everyday user of Caddi, you can disconnect after confirming the connection works.
