This month your loops learned to look things up on the web, picked up a fresh batch of tools and actions, and got a lot smarter about reading documents. Plus a round of fixes for things you told us about.
🚀 Loops can now search the web and read web pages
Until now, a loop could only work with the data you handed it or pulled from a connected tool — if an answer lived on a public website, you had to go find it yourself and paste it back in. That gap is closed.
Loops can now do two things on their own: search the web, and pull the full contents of a web page in as clean text — no extra connection or setup required. So a loop can look up a company before an intake call, confirm a detail against a public record, or read a page and hand its contents straight to the next step.
🔌 New tools & actions
Your loops reach further into the tools you already use, with new integrations and a batch of new actions on existing ones:
NetDocuments — loops can now search clients and matters, create new matters, and read and update document attributes, so you can file and tag work automatically.
Smartsheet — connect Smartsheet so loops can search sheets and work with their rows.
DocuSign — loops can now pull a filtered list of envelopes to track signature status.
Neos — loops can search and read events and send messages.
Clio — loops can now update a matter, list contacts and users, and pull conversation participants.
Trello — loops can read board members and card attachments.
Box — loops can now move folders, not just files.
Microsoft Outlook — loops can download email attachments straight into a workflow.
Google Sheets & OneDrive Excel — loops can now format cells (colors, bold, borders, merge) and add or remove rows and columns — not just write values.
✨ New features
More precise loop inputs — when you run a loop, you can now give it dates, date ranges, times, time zones, and properly formatted phone numbers (with a country picker), with checks that flag a bad entry before the run starts. Time-based inputs use your own time zone, so a loop scheduled or run from your desk lines up with your day instead of UTC.
🏢 Enterprise
Connect more than one account of the same tool — Enterprise teams can link several accounts for a single integration, rename them so they're easy to tell apart, and manage each one from the Credentials page. When a loop shows a tool as disconnected, you can jump straight to the right place to reconnect it.
🔧 Improved
Reading documents — Caddi now reads PDFs and handles long documents, so loops can pull data straight out of filings, statements, and scanned paperwork — and a loop can now pull out specific pages of a PDF when it only needs part of a file. We've updated the in-app guidance that used to say otherwise.
Help when a run needs attention — when a run hits an error or needs your review, there's now a help button right there to point you to what to do next.
Disconnected tools are clearer — if a tool a loop depends on loses its connection mid-run, the run now pauses for your review with the specific tool named, instead of failing with a vague error.
Flexible scheduling — scheduled loops can now run on the specific hours and days of the week you choose, not just a fixed interval.
🐛 Fixed
We squashed a batch of bugs this month, including the "Add Recording" button showing a generic error when the Caddi browser extension wasn't installed (it now prompts you to install it), recordings silently dropping some of their captured activity, the Cancel and "View Run" buttons not reliably appearing while a loop was running, links in Caddi's messages not opening correctly, and inputs containing an apostrophe (like a household name) tripping up a run.
