Zocks connects to Caddi through an OAuth app that you create in your own Zocks account. You give Caddi the app's Client ID and Client Secret.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Zocks account on the Professional plan or above
The Admin or Owner role in Zocks. If you don't see the option to create an app, your Home Office Enterprise Admin can enable it for you.
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
Step 1: Copy the redirect URL from Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find Zocks - Custom OAuth App and click Configure.
Click Copy redirect URL. It is
https://app.trycaddi.com/oauth-callback. Keep this form open; you'll come back to it in Step 4.
Step 2: Create the app in Zocks
Sign in to Zocks and go to Settings, then Integrations, then Apps.
Click Create new app.
App details: enter an App name (for example
Caddi), a Short description, About, and What you can do. Logo URL is optional.Redirect URIs: paste the redirect URL you copied in Step 1. It must match exactly.
Scopes: the scope picker groups scopes by the type of data they grant access to. Select the scopes for the data Caddi reads: meetings, contacts, and tasks.
Finish setup. Zocks shows your Client ID and Client Secret. Copy both.
Do not send this secret by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 4, or keep it in a password manager until you do.
Step 3: Enable the app in Zocks
New Zocks apps are disabled by default and can't be used until they are turned on.
In Zocks, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Apps, and open the app you just created.
Enable the app.
If your firm uses a Zocks enterprise hierarchy, email integrations@zocks.io to have the app enabled for the hierarchy.
Step 4: Add the credentials in Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find Zocks - Custom OAuth App and click Configure.
Paste the Client ID from Zocks into Client ID.
Paste the Client Secret from Zocks into Client Secret.
Click Save Configuration.
Step 5: Confirm the connection
In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar.
Find Zocks - Custom OAuth App and click Connect.
Sign in to Zocks and approve the request. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.
If you're not going to be an everyday user of Caddi, you can disconnect after confirming the connection works.
