Webex connects to Caddi through an integration that you create in the Webex Developer Portal. You copy its Client ID and Client Secret into Caddi.
Before you start
You'll need:
A Webex account to sign in to the Webex Developer Portal
Owner or Admin access to your Caddi organization
Step 1: Copy the redirect URL from Caddi
In Caddi, open Settings, then Integrations.
Under Connectors you can configure, find Webex - Custom Integration and click Configure.
Click Copy redirect URL. It is
https://app.trycaddi.com/oauth-callback.Leave this page open. You will come back to it in Step 3.
Step 2: Create the integration in Webex
Sign in at developer.webex.com and open My Webex Apps from the menu under your avatar.
Click Create a New App, then Create an Integration.
Enter a name (for example,
Caddi) and a description. For the icon, choose one of the defaults or upload an image that is at least 512x512 pixels. Webex users see these when they approve the connection.Under Redirect URI(s), paste the redirect URL you copied in Step 1.
Under Scopes, select the scopes Caddi uses:
spark:rooms_read,spark:rooms_write,spark:memberships_read,spark:memberships_write,spark:messages_read,spark:messages_write,spark:teams_read,spark:teams_write,spark:team_memberships_read,spark:team_memberships_write,spark:people_read,identity:groups_read,meeting:schedules_read,meeting:schedules_write,meeting:participants_read,meeting:participants_write,meeting:recordings_read,meeting:recordings_write,meeting:transcripts_read.spark:people_readis required.Click Add Integration.
Copy the Client ID and the Client Secret. Webex shows the Client Secret only once, when the integration is created.
Do not send this secret by email, chat, or a support ticket. Paste it straight into Caddi in Step 3, or keep it in a password manager until you do.
Step 3: Add the integration in Caddi
Go back to the Webex - Custom Integration form you opened in Step 1. If you closed it, open Settings, then Integrations, find Webex - Custom Integration under Connectors you can configure, and click Configure.
Fill in the fields:
Client ID: the Client ID from your Webex integration.
Client Secret: the Client Secret from your Webex integration.
OAuth Scopes: leave this blank to use Caddi's default scopes.
Click Save Configuration.
Step 4: Confirm the connection
In Caddi, open Integrations in the left sidebar.
Find Webex - Custom Integration and click Connect.
Sign in to Webex and approve the request. You'll be returned to Caddi with the connection active.
If you're not going to be an everyday user of Caddi, you can disconnect after confirming the connection works.
