August 2026: Decide exactly who can do what with each loop

Loops now have four levels of sharing and a change history you can read. Plus usage and billing you can run yourself, narration while you record, and seven new integrations.

Loops now have four levels of sharing and a change history you can read. Plus usage and billing you can run yourself, narration while you record, and seven new integrations.

🚀 Four levels of access, not one

Sharing a loop used to be close to all-or-nothing. Once someone had access, they had all of it — the colleague who only ever needed to run your intake loop had the same reach as the person who built it.

From this month, every loop you share carries one of four levels. A viewer can see the loop and how it works. A runner can run it with their own inputs. An editor can change it. An owner controls it — and ownership can now be transferred to someone else outright.

Alongside that, each loop keeps a history of what changed and who changed it, with your own edits told apart from everyone else's. In practice: share a client-intake loop with your paralegals as runners and your ops lead as an editor, then read the history on your return to see exactly what moved while you were out. If you have organized your firm into teams, you can share to a whole team at once — see Organizing people into teams.

💳 See what you're using, and handle billing yourself

For organization admins. There is now a usage page showing what your plan meters, what in your firm is consuming it, and what you owe. From the same place you can add a card, settle a bill, change plan, or cancel. You can also set your own overage limit, so usage does not continue past the point you set.

✨ New features

  • Narrate while you record — talk through what you're doing as you record, and watch the step you're on highlight in the recorder's side panel as you go. What you say is attached underneath the step it belongs to, so the recording explains itself.

  • Test a loop without leaving Loop Studio — run a test from where you're building, see the result, and keep going. You no longer need to switch screens to find out whether the change worked.

  • A guided tour of Loop Studio — a walkthrough of the building experience for anyone opening it for the first time. More depth in the Loop Studio FAQ and Loop Studio Best Practices.

  • Guided onboarding — new organizations are walked through setup, including what kind of firm they are and how they work.

  • Star a loop for yourself — starring is now yours alone. Marking a loop as a favorite no longer stars it for everyone in your organization.

🔌 New integrations

Seven more systems your loops can work in:

  • Wealthbox — bring client records, contacts, and activity from your CRM into your loops. Set up Wealthbox

  • ClickUp — let loops work with your tasks, lists, and projects. Set up ClickUp

  • PagerDuty — connect PagerDuty so loops can work with incidents and on-call schedules. Set up PagerDuty

  • Practifi — connect your Practifi instance so loops can work with client and relationship data. Set up Practifi (Advanced)

  • TimeSolv — bring time entries, expenses, and billing into your loops. Set up TimeSolv (Advanced)

  • Egnyte — let loops read and manage documents in your Egnyte storage. Set up Egnyte (Advanced)

  • Zocks — bring your client meeting notes and summaries into your loops. Set up Zocks (Advanced)

The four marked Advanced need Advanced integrations enabled on your plan, and setup includes registering your own OAuth application with the provider. The other three connect straight away. The General Integration FAQ covers what to expect either way.

🔧 Improved

  • GitHub and Linear are easier to connect — both now use standard OAuth, so you can connect them yourself instead of registering an application first. GitHub · Linear

  • A clearer Settings and Organization area — settings, your organization page, and the audit log have all been reorganized, so the setting you need is easier to find.
